Photography forms the basis of my artistic practice, with most work developing from initial photographic exploration. Work is often resolved in the use of printed photographs as components in installations, where images and objects share an equal platform as artefacts. Works generally form a bridge between the disciplines of photography and sculpture.

My work has previously explored a series of subjects and themes, with inspiration for current work drawing from contemporary political activity. The main themes I explore originate from lived experiences and other practices, generally working on the boundary where knowledge meets art. This way of working represents a wider interest in the pursuit of research as an artist. I use the inquisitive process in making a body of work to further myself and my practice through exploring new creative techniques, disciplines or ideas.
